"Hope For The Nation” is an extremely progressive network of compassionate volunteers who are giving hope, through loving acts of kindness, to the hopeless and brokenhearted in America. In addition to building homes for families on the Gulf Coast, “A Queen For A Day” serves women who have lost everything, providing personal makeovers, including hair, makeup, nails, and wardrobes.
Hope For The Nation also holds empowerment seminars and conferences, equipping women of all ages with tools to know who they are in Christ, and begin successful, new lives of service through Christ while reaching out to others in need, allowing even more "new beginnings".
“Hope For The Nation” was founded in 2007 by Linda Oliver. Linda has had a successful career in government and interior design, and not only organized presidential, gubernatorial and U.S. congressional campaigns, but has also served four Alabama Governors. Her heart is to reach out to those who are desperately hurting and in need of love. After personal loss and broken dreams, Linda was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, osteoarthritis, lupus and depression. Her testimony is full of trials and tragedy, healing and hope, and God never left her side; it is through these experiences that God birthed this vision of hope for the hurting world. At what was thought to be the lowest point in life, Linda didn’t know how she could make it, but God opened the door for her to not only begin a gifted singing career, but also to found the ministry Hope For The Nation.
