We Are Elementary Pupils of The Flawless Master Mathematician

There are many mathematical formulas used endlessly in every aspect of life. We measure, establish standards, build, modify, and even destroy with mathematical formulas.

One of the interesting, even exciting, aspects of mathematics is the usage of chainlike formulas. Chainlike formulas in multiplication can be used to calculate total interest on multiple saving accounts, weather forecasts, chance of a series of events occurring, the total area in several objects or zones, and many, many other things.

Each facet of the multiplication chain formula must be a number or an unknown variable to be derived by a calculation.

The Lord God Almighty created multiplication, and He was, is, and will be the Flawless Master of Multiplication. Let us born again, believing disciples of Jesus pause and consider ourselves a mathematical variable, a part of a chain formula. We will call the formula, “The Great Commission”. The Biblical Great Commission was spoken by Jesus Himself; All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”. Matthew 28:16-20

Not long-ago Doris and I had the wonderful honor of being at a Gathering with many committed and seasoned Christians. What a pleasure watching them sing, converse, and exchange the joy of gathering in Christ’s name with other dear hearts and gentle people.

Recalling that time makes me think of the mission power this group could generate by being part of the Great Commission multiplication chain. This group, only 0.000003% of the U.S population, could present their words or fruits of their salvation to over 1,000,000 people in the coming year.

We, as Christians, are part of a secure and unbreakable chain eternally welded together by the grace of a loving Father, Who chose to hang on that cross at Calvary for us. We are a variable in the formula, and we are the ones who choose our own variable value to input into the mission chain formula. Let us not weaken or break the chain. We can do this fearlessly.

Jesus said: “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid”. John 14:27
